so I understand how the binary numbers equal the spell level, and I can see that a level 1 wish is different than a level 1 fireball but - I can't tell how I would draw /decode the other parts

I watched the whole video and I still don't know how binary factors in. the first k value is level, okay, and then the next refers to another detail and so on.. probably... but that's all I got

The concept of assigning newly aquired spells the next binary makes Wizard spellbooks personalized and in need of decoding time, and some ink to write it out. Much like the rules! bravo!

so for spell level you are using a different lenght of those dashes along the circumference, ok, fair enough. that k value tho... to do what?lines from one point to another across the thing?

tbh I love that the spells are a little harder to decode if/when you change the base shape from a circle to anything else - it could enrich lore/plot of the game by opening up the possibility of 🦈

what would be super tad is a small tablet or phone that lets you draw out the spell and tells you what it is after youre done: actually testing wizards knowledge as they play.
