@cbsnews: California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara has issued a one-year moratorium on insurance non-renewals and cancellations for those impacted by the Palisades and Eaton Fires in Los Angeles, regardless of whether they suffered a loss. The moratorium comes after CBS News learned that about 1,600 policies in Pacific Palisades were dropped by State Farm in July.
