It can’t be about stifling communication. If the app is sold, then the app stays. So that wouldn’t stop communication. They built the solution right into the law. If Bytedance won’t sell, that’s on them. Plus, they’re not trying to stifle communication on all of the other social media apps. So that theory does not hold up.
