Transparency/self-disclosure is key for close/intimate relationships. When dating, you’re mostly dealing with STRANGERS. After a couple dates, he’s an acquaintance. The Rules has you act accordingly.

Agree re not telling the therapist about self-protection strategies like the Rules. Mine wanted me to contact an old HS male friend and I luckily found out he was married b4 I caved to her pressure.

Can confirm - if he can’t take the lead and make plans to see you and book the restaurant etc he won’t be doing it later either - for your bday, anniversary, date night. Learned the hard way 🤦♀️
