wages aren't the big sticking point! its retro pay: Prov drags out negotiations in order to delay raises, then refuses to make raises retro active; it's a scam and we're tired of the games!💚✊

It’s odd. They don’t want to pay extra for staffing. And in Canada (gov ran healthcare) they have shortages because the government doesn’t want to pay either.

This is exactly why doctors are joining with 5000 nurses in Oregon to strike against Providence Healthcare because they REFUSE to safely staff their hospitals

I wish big healthcare companies wouldn’t put their greed ahead of the healthcare workers and patients rights and needs.

Providence is lying about their participation in bargaining and making money by investing the raises their caregivers should have gotten over a year ago, while insulting and demeaning the people who save lives and make the company everything it is. Why hasn’t a single media entity asked them why they’re so willing to pay $20 million a week for scabs but not come to the table and take care of their own employees who just want to have affordable insurance and the ability to provide safe care to every patient? This is a power play by Providence and their corporate greed is absolutely out of control.
