@gmanews: Firefighters and fire vehicles were seen hurrying off a ridgeline as an out-of-control wildfire blazed through an elevated fire post in California’s Santa Monica mountains on Friday night, January 10. A few firetrucks were among the more than ten vehicles that were observed fleeing the advancing fire. The fire was one of several that are presently destroying areas of Los Angeles, including the Palisades Fire, which covered more than 20,000 acres (about 8,000 hectares).
