cut the end of a coke bottles the big ones and it works wonders put it down the bend of the toilet and it acts as a plunger or just buy a plunger

You are unbelievably lucky that pan didn’t shatter when you poured boiling water down it, I drained a commercial (80c) heating system once into a toilet and it exploded, it was carnage

You have to be careful what paper you use with modern water saving toilets. They use less water & the bowl at the bottom is smaller so thicker, 3-ply paper doesn’t disintegrate as easily.
