@kin.cards: I started over in my 30s, and not for the first time. I moved away from everyone and everything I knew and came somewhere new. It’s wonderful and nerve racking and I’m never 100% sure what I’m buying in the grocery store, or if I’ve read a sign correctly because everything is in a language I’m trying but still learning to speak. This idea that your 20s are the only time you have to experiment and make mistakes and try new things is, not only wrong in my opinion, but puts too much pressure on us to execute our lives a certain way while they’re happening, while we’re young, while we’re unsure. I’ve found the older I get the more I know about myself and the younger it makes me feel.
