My orange cat has this same strategy but uses it sparingly my tortie however perfers to just lay together so the moment she sees me knitting she knows it’s time for snuggles

Yes!!! I needlepoint and I have to keep a pair of a pair of tweezers in my kit bc of all the cat hair from my cats rubbing on my hands and work! 🤣
