Omg I go through the same thing at my MRI Facility. People call and say their name, then just pause forever. I’m like “ Ans what can I help you with?” Then start totally random conversations 🤦🏼♀️

See that's when I look at the upcoming person and be like, "Hi, I'm so sorry, I'll be right with you as soon as I can!" so the person on the phone can hear and hopefully get the memo.
