Definetly the first option. The goal is to increase employability, I already have the skills. And if I didn't, better to lie and obtain them later then obtain them and have no one give me a shot.

of course bc ppl don't care about important stuff anymore they care about status and power. you need money to get into Harvard so if u have a degree from it you must have money is the mindset.

Option 1 will make it easier to get employed but you will remain a junior employee forever because you will never meet the expectations they had for a harvard graduate. Option 2 is better long-term.
