I bought a 5700 watt B&S genny 20 years ago. Can run so many items at the same time, then alternate for the heavy items like dishwasher, laundry etc.

That's 40 amps at 120 volts or 20 amps at 240 volts. It will not run your house hear strips. It will run small heaters however. Just know the wattage of each unit and the total should not exceed 4800w
