Water/liquid is powerful. Just think of how easy it is to get knocked over by a wave standing knee/thigh high in the ocean.

Im assuming that is why firefighters drop to their knees, back to sky and hands on their helmets - to brace for impact.

Every gallon of water is 8.34 lbs. A 1500 gallon drop is 12,510 lbs. Even a small helicopter bucket can destroy stuff.

now it makes sense why you see firefighters run when it's being dropped where they are standing 😬😬 that's crazy!!

Not me asking my husband “why don’t they just drop that stuff on the homes that haven’t burned yet, to save them?”😳

Why is it red though is it so the ground crews can see it ?

Yeah but are they ever dropping that close to the ground? The answer is generally no

Not dropped this low typically. The higher the drop the more it disperses.
