Not alot of people in SA gets this. I have been doing this on a couple of properties but use a slightly more aggressive strategy. I get my properties for free and still cashflow R30k+ per property.

With the rising costs of rates, sewer, water, elec, maint, etc plus pay taxes on rental profits... it's not really viable to be a landlord anymore. Tenants default also higher when rental is over R10K
