@hollywoodundead: I first saw the smoke over downtown and thought nothing of it, another random fire. Then that night the wind got so bad it was knocking over trees right in front of us. I thought I was seeing green lightning all over the city/mountains but it was electrical transformers blowing up everywhere. All that caused the fires to get out of control. The next few days looked like Armageddon in the sky, raining ash all over the city. Places we’ve been going to since we were kids are gone. I spent a lot of time at my mother’s place in the city of Altadena, which got hammered by the Eaton fire. Memories and peoples homes all reduced to ash. I have personally donated time to fire fighters in the past with SoCal wild fires and have put out spot fires on mountain sides. When it’s right infront of you, you see how out of control it really is. Let’s hope the people who lost everything and some their lives, find some peace at the end of this -JD #lalives
