I also think Ren Ichinose could be Nobuo's. I know the roulette of genetics are just a random pick but being that black hair is a dominant trait and all of Hachi's family having light brown/ brown hair and Satsuki having more similar looks to Takumi (though the rumors of Satsuki being Ren's an Nana's gives pause)

The reason it’s not shown in the anime is that it doesn’t come up in the manga till after the point where the anime left off. So they just kept the timeline the same
