@bsg1305: Learning to love you healed me. Little did I know that teaching myself to love you with conditions would of crafted me into a more wholesome man. I am by no means perfect but I’ll always try my best for you and that’s what love is, it’s a relentless battle of compromise and sacrifice for one one another despite everything. Waking up and choosing you is the easiest decision of my day, everyday. I must admit, something bothered me a couple moons ago around when we just met, within the first couple days, I remember asking myself if I was ready for a serious commitment with anyone. Within that thought I told myself no, I truly wasn’t ready because I felt as if I needed to fix and work on certain things as a young man before I decided to care for a woman’s heart again. On our first date, we laughed and laughed and laughed till both our stomach ached, what a date it was. On my way back home, I couldn’t get the sound of your laugh, that annoying laugh haha, and the feeling that I got out of that look in your eyes off me at all, I couldn’t get it out of my head. Then I realized everything I wanted for myself and wanted to fix in myself was standing right in front of me, you certainly gave me a reason to love, a reason to improve, a reason to settle, to laugh, to commit. What I can say to anyone that’s struggling with love, is this, God’s timing will never delay a blessing when it’s due. We both met one another far from perfect, but together, unstoppable. To love someone is not just to adore what’s presented to you but to love them with the potential of who they can become if loved correctly and that’s a responsibility as a man you need to be ready for because it’s not simple nor easy.
