especially since the vast majority of that stuff is gonna be thrown out anyway, either cuz of the building getting damaged or the power going out long enough that the fridges get too warm

Up here in Maine people literally don’t lock their remote camps so if someone’s lost in the woods and needs shelter they can get inside and use the woodstove
