@nomsmag: 😔 Back in late December, an early morning fire broke out at a longtime strip mall along North Road. According to reports by Global News, significant structural damage was caused by the fire and potential explosion. Luckily, no injuries were reported. Last week, we walked by the scene to see the status of everything. All of the businesses at the strip mall were affected, including 5 food spots: Kimbap Cheonguk, Bukchigo Janngchigo, Yewon Korean Restaurant, Pho Capital and Cafe Blanc. Many of these are longtime family owned businesses. All of them are currently temporarily closed and it is uncertain what will happen to this strip mall.
