I ended up with a bailiff at my door over council tax so how are you supposed to avoid that. I have 2 kids and I don't want 2 b scared to answer my door again.

They can take the unpaid council tax from your wages they did it to my partner he had no choice as they send letters to your employer

the council does all their paperwork in house the summons to court is a invitation only will not be dealt with by a judge the council hire a room of the court to bulk paperwork through

There is also a form you can ask council for(they won't tell you about it though) it's either section A13 form or section A21 form and it's if your struggling to pay by law they have to leave you alon

I would love to be a fly on the wall listening to this in court by not paying and racking up a debt it’s risking your credit rating then how do you get round that if you want to buy a house?

i didn't pay council tax for about 15 years and nearly lost my house, i had to take out a 2nd mortgage and pay nearly £15,000 so please pay so you don't end up in debt
