@happy.smallholding: Watering 🌱 Keep your lettuce and dwarf French beans well watered. This means keeping the soil moist about an inch below the surface. Carrots need less water - letting the top of the soil dry out will encourage the roots to grow down in search of moisture, giving you longer carrots. Do water your carrots during prolonged dry spells or if it’s very hot. With watering, just keep an eye on your plants and you’ll soon get a feel for how much water everything needs.
