It sounds like to me it's more like your hemoglobin. that's low if you're going to get a bag of blood. When My platelets are low, it does not make me tired. I just get the red dots everywhere.

My platelets are low but there are considered okay even thougn borderline. The fatigue is rough. I am eating soursop and drinking the tea. You can find it on Amazon. I eat beets. Bone broth.

I’m sorry! My Mom had this happen so frequently. Too low for chemo, but Not low enough for blood transfusion. Her longest wait was 7 weeks without chemo. 🥺

My hemoglobin dropped to 6 and then 4, my red cell spacing was large. It made me feel this way with Petechial rash. I had Interferon, then was given two doses of MonoFerric it made me feel better.

I take Nplate injection once a week at the oncology center. I, too have ITP. I’ve been on it for 5 years. It’s the only treatment that I’ve responded will too. It’s worth a shot.

I needed a blood transfusion bc of that and had Covid at same time I was so exhausted was unreal , I believe that it’s bc I had stopped drinking pure pomegranate juice ( it was too sweet for me)

My friend has to get an infusion before every treatment. She always feels much better after.

I have GBM stage 4. Didn't get to finish my 23/5 chemo 1 1/2 yrs ago because platelets were 14. Get a transfusion, you'll feel a little better within a few days.

I too struggle with the red devil side effects I have had 12 rounds of normal chemo immunotherapy double mastectomy and now 4 rounds of red devil then radiation therapy it’s a long road best of luck

I got copies of my CBCs every time & I thought there a couple times I wouldn't have been able to receive treatment but I guess my Oncologist said it was OK.

was opposite4 me. I was hospitalized4low platelet count,they said I could hemorrhage from bumping self. I started chemo still. Each treatment brought platelet count up
