@expiredfilmclub: When @spursofficial came to @Tamworth FC, shot on 35mm film ⚽️🎞️ #expiredfilmclub There’s no football competition in the world quite like the @Emirates FA Cup. Officially the world’s oldest football tournament, I thought it could make for some very powerful imagery to go along to The Lamb Ground, home of Tamworth FC (currently sitting in 16th in the National league, England’s fifth tier) for what was my tie of the third round - hosting Premier League giants Spurs - all shot on 35mm film. I wanted the photos to bring together everything that the FA Cup stands for - history, community, passion, and the possibility of a huge giant killing. It’s games like these that bring back the true meaning of football, seeing major international stars walk in through the turnstiles of a 4,000 capacity ground, and an entire community coming out to support their local lads, all for the love of the game.
