@rtenews: If you’re planning a visit to Dublin’s “Cherry Tomato Bridge”, be prepared for your hopes to be squashed - literally. The spot in Drumcondra became internet-famous over the past few days, after a TikTok user posted a photo of some cherry tomatoes that someone had left on the bridge wall during the cold snap. The bridge fast became a kind of tomato-based shrine, with visitors adding packets of ketchup and tins of chopped tomatoes to the mix. Quite why, nobody appears to know. Or care. However, when RTE News visited the bridge this afternoon, the tomatoes were no longer on the bridge wall. Instead they were strewn on the railway tracks below, much to the disappointment of visitors hoping to ‘ketchup’ on all the excitement. 🍅🍅🍅 #Dublin #CherryTomatoBridge #Ireland #viral #drumcondra #rtenews
