@abbiegunilla: I have written an Ebook on reading and writing with runes! Available in my 1nsta bio @abbiegunilla ♥️ ᚼᛅᛒᛒᛁ ᚾᛁᚢ ᛁᛅᛦ! 🌟 before the Roman alphabet took over across Germanic Europe, we had runes. They are much more suited for our languages and words. Should we bring them back? #runes #europeanculture #europeanhistory #norseculture #europeantraditions #pagantraditions #scandinavianhistory #EuropeanHeritage #ironage #futhark
If Greek, Russian, and Chinese are hard to learn because of their alphabet, imagine learning English written with runes. It would actually be fun, but not that easy.

If runes were that practical over the "Latin" alphabet (not Roman), why did runes not survive?

Runes would basically have been our version of kanji, makes sense to me why they would have been more beneficial if we'd stuck with them

I don't see any problems creating new symbols meaning your needed sounds, way easier than runes
