I’ve never backpacked but I do enjoy camping. Are you allowed to build campfires? I can see why it might be frowned upon but just curious.

The pocket rocket is great but it is a ripoff of the Soto Windmaster. Might as well buy the original that has a replaceable piezo lighter.

Knew a few people on the trail who carried fuel canister transfers. They were able to fill their fuel stove with the near empty ones lots of hikers left in the hiker boxes
