Please instead save and help him pay for a car college a house a business. When he’s a teenager or in a weeks time he won’t remember the toys. I feel like this choice is more about proving to other people that you’re a good parent than being a great one

Nah this part. I used to have to put juice back in the store and find eviction notices in the mail. Now my kid knows he never has to worry if mommy has money. That should never be a child’s burden to bear. 🖤

As a young father that grew up in similar situations and made it to where my daughter gets soemthing at every store we made it man those nights we were kids hoping it’d get better we made it for ours

If my kids look at me and say they are hungry even 2 hours after supper I have to give them something. I went without food as a kid and it hits something in me.
