Oh my goodness! The project is starting to make its rounds in the media. I’m so far from done but here’s where I’m at now…I have since reached out to peer reviewers that are professionals in fields of Marilyn’s life that is outside my personal knowledge. I have found an endometriosis specialist, a psychologist, a few Marilyn Monroe collectors, Jewish educators, a general historian, and a few diehard Monroe fan accounts for feedback. I’m riddled with stress trying not to miss a mark. I’m going into this project throwing away everything I or the world thinks they know about her and only using her spoken or written words as my evidence. It’s the only way to keep this accurate. If you want to see something featured, I can’t make you a promise that it will be until I find it in her words or writing, even if it’s super common and even confirmed knowledge so bare with me on what will and won’t be in the final draft. This is simply a process to make sure I don’t run in any biased, inflated or partially true, misunderstood, or stereotypical directions 🫶🏻 writing currently has been at a pause because I am working on my horror stuff for this month but it resumes in Nov. Also disclaimer, there’s no promise any investors will want to pick this up but signing the petition in my bio may help be a little more convincing!
