They get a dollar an hour from the time they leave camp until they return, that's $24 a day sometimes for weeks at a time, in the 90's I did 3 seasons on an inmate crew, bought a car with that $1 hr

I mean they also get time off they sentence which is basically them paying the jail & getting the left over most jails it’s like 135-175 a day they pay private prisons to house prisoners

Who gives af what she thinks, these “PRISONERS” only reason they are allowed to help is because they committed non violent crimes and doing this reduces their sentence. They shouldn’t be paid at all
