My daughter was 1 1/2 years old when we got our German Shepherd that was also 1 1/2 years old and my boys were 7. That dog was amazing with all of them. Best dog to have with kids

Best dogs ever with kids, mine took on a rattler that was headed for the boys. Of course he won and we took him to the vet he recovered and lived until he was 19.
