In the 60s my grandma added a “vestibule” to her 1890s house and now that I have a house with the same floor plan - but w an enclosed front porch already - I GET it. I am going to look into that floor for my front entry 😍😍😍

We are starting plans to do this to our house (partially influenced by yours!) because walking right into the living with no entry is the worst part!
