When I was active duty Marine Corps, women had to run a 1.5 mile pft, whereas men had to run 3 miles, for the same score. I think that the standards should be the same, especially for combat roles

I'm 5'1 120lbs- there is no way I can successfully pick up/keep up with a male double my size and weight. The team would be compromised if a member can't do what everyone else can.

I'm 5'8 and 130lbs, my marine corp husband is 6'4 and 200lbs. I absolutely CANNOT move him with his full gear on, I have tried! He doesn't need/want someone my size to move his lifeless body to safety
