I’m so glad I never had to do a tilt table test. They made me go from laying to standing and my heartrate jumped like 40, and I almost passed out, was sweating really badly, and stumbling, 1/3

I also got cut off at 14 minutes cause I was suddenly getting faint 😭 I felt so terrible after but I got the POTS diagnosis. Also the hospital I was at didn’t use nitro thankfully cause that was scary to me

Guys some doctors / hospitals don’t do the nitro - mine had never even heard of doing that and said - anyone would have a reaction to nitro so it’s not super accurate. So I didn’t get it and still -

Feel so bad for everyone who has had to go through this. my cardiologist’s tilt table broke and they never replaced it. he said it was barbaric and diagnosed me without it, i have pots and eds

I had mine today and i couldn’t stop yawning and then thought i was going to get sick, at the 25 minute mark, i pretty much passed out and they couldn’t find my blood pressure due to it being so low!

Oh gosh, I have an appt finally with a cardiologist next Tuesday and I’m freaking outtt ☹️. I already jump 50bpm from standing. I was told it’s 10min laying down and then 10 standing up. 40mins 😫 ??

I was diagnosed without a tilt table because apparently it's not always accurate and it's just traumatic- I'm so grateful I didn't have to do one 😭

my doctor said she didn’t want to put me through this so she dx’d me with dysautonomia and said it didn’t matter because she treats them the same. i can’t believe doctors watch this happen…

The moment they gave me the tablet, immediate reaction. Started to sweat and shake and was nauseous and then everything went starry then black. It was insane.

Update got diagnosed with POTS last week. I was 5 secs from blacking out during the tilt table test. I literally COULD NOT breathe 😭. I couldn’t feel my hands or feet. I was HOT. My ears were ringing
