Stay consistent and be patient with your training. Join a running club/group as they will help you build confidence and you will enjoy their company on long runs. 🙌🏽

Find YOUR pace. I started out wanting to run as fast as I could and it depleted me. I now start “slow” and build up with each mile so that I’m not drained by my last. Training for my first half in Mar

increase weekly and long run mileage CAREFULLY! 80% easy runs and also no need to have your longest run longer than 9-11 miles! best of luck:)

It’s me :
I skipped almost all my long runs and did most of my training running back and forth in my tiny apartment. But I finished and would not recommend my “training” plan lol.

Run the full 13 before race day. I used 5 gu’s with caffeine & luckily people handed them out, I only packed 3. Gatorade/water alternate. Watch people that abruptly stop or uneven roads. Have fun!

Training requires running a lot slower than you would think! Also, if you haven’t yet, run at least 1 5k race so you can get a better feel on how to handle race day jitters😁

Nutrition! Practice what you'd eat for breakfast on race day and how to fuel during your long runs 🍌
and HYRDATE 💧 4-5 sips of water every 15mins helps to get enough in 🥰 Goodluck!
