Do you have any advice for a 3 year old who hates losing? If we race and I don't let him win he gets upset. If kids are bad at losing or a sore loser, it usually means that you've put a big emphasis on winning. They don't understand winning and losing unless you teach them that winning is great and losing is lousy. My mother did a really good job with that. She never emphasized winning - just that we played out best. So she put all the emphasis on how we play, not the outcome. You have most likely taught them that winning means a lot, but you can change that. Put the emphasis on their effort not the outcome. P.S.
