I lived in Scotland once. Visited London & almost no one would take my British pounds bc the bills said "Bank of Scotland" on it. As an American I hated trying to explain it was the same currency

I’m of the other camp and if I can pay for stuff with my watch/phone instead of carrying notes and coins in my pocket I’d prefer it 🤷🏼♂️

I've had to take my kids cash and let them use my card before. It sucks but why punish the kids. Just buy the pizza with your card and pocket the cash.

Being scottish and going to England i know this pain. I went to Liverpool and they spent about 5 minutes inspecting the money and even got a manager 😂

Get some ducks and chickens and a couple goats. Just start to demand bartering instead. “Cash or chicken your choice” this sounds kinda fun but carrying around chickens or ducks would be a pain
