As social media continues to be flooded with the faces of monstrous men, i’m taking another moment to celebrate the life of Kiena Dawes. While many of us, including myself did not know Kiena personally, her story feels so deeply close to home and as active allies of Domestic Abuse victims and survivors, I feel it’s only right that we advocate for Kiena in her memory while sending extended prayers of strength and solidarity to her loved ones at this challenging time.
