This will not work in the real world. Concrete is always off sometimes up to an inch. If you set your base level, you will have huge gaps, especially with floating floors or glue downs.

Rock that pry bar left-to-right to remove trim (instead of up/down). Almost zero chance of damaging the wall when doing that, but the board still comes off.

I miss doing raised panels or crown moulding as well as increasing size of casing and base with additional mouldings! Much richer look that will come back but in different ways
