why would you need to use a biscuit joiner for that? can't you just glue or nail it?

The mistake is the moulding. That is out of date. Look at 2 million dollar homes. No is doing that anymore

The baseboard you scribed...was it's finished height unimportant or did you have a specific height it had to be?

Rock that pry bar left-to-right to remove trim (instead of up/down). Almost zero chance of damaging the wall when doing that, but the board still comes off.

I like the biscuits to be honest, glue doesn’t like end grain or primer in the end it’ll be a longer lasting product. Well done
