@bristexastails: Replying to @nelly_012341 Houston is in the middle of a stray animal crisis and it won’t change until people start making better choices. Our shelters are full, fosters are full and rescues are exhausted. The shelter is a resource for the people in our city because it’s impossible for citizens to intake every stray dog they find. This is another reason why it is not a solution to leave a stray on the street instead of taking them to the shelter. The more they reproduce on the street, the more shelters will be forced to euthanize for space. Please spay and neuter your pets! If you’d like to help texas dogs but are not in Texas, reach out to rescues in your area! A lot of them pull from shelters here and transport to your area!
