Capital One’s slogan is “What’s in your wallet?” Well, I can tell you what’s NOT in mine—my direct deposit.🥴 On Wednesday night, I noticed my direct deposit didn’t come through. I called Capital One, and they told me to check with my employer. However, I knew something wasn’t right. By Thursday, my deposit still hadn’t arrived. After several calls, they finally admitted there were “technical issues” with the third-party site handling the direct deposits. Yesterday, I spoke with multiple representatives, each giving me a different explanation, until I finally reached a manager who assured me the issue was nearly resolved and we’d be paid by the end of the day. But here we are on Friday morning, and I’m still waiting for my deposit. I called again at 8 a.m. and spent 90 minutes on hold, only to be met by a rude manager. When I calmly asked where my money was, she kept repeating the same scripted response about a “technical issue” and said they were working with the third party to resolve it. When I pressed for more details, she repeated herself, put me on hold, then returned to yell the same statement at me before hanging up. Now, every time I try to call back, the system hangs up. I’m beyond disappointed in Capital One. This situation has been mishandled at every level, and the lack of clear communication and professionalism is unacceptable. How can Capital One justify holding our money and not working around the clock to release it? This is not only frustrating but feels completely unethical. @Capital One #capitalone
