This is why I will never pay a contractor, licensed or otherwise, upfront. I ensure the contract specifies everything they’re being paid to do, not just “baseboards.” What are they doing with them?

So, a laundry room, bathroom remodel and building a stairwell for $4800? Just a bath remodel would avg $10k. Sounds like she didn't want to pay for a real contractor 😂👍
