Replying to @ireneee771 Here to breakdown the ACCURACY of what happened here and not use my own likes or dislikes for certain characters to add things that didn't happen on the show like so many people do. I've spent many many years reading and watching the opinions and accusations that people have said about the vampire diaries considering I've had this tiktok dedicated to the TVDU since 2022 and I'm just collectively combining the opinions and accusations I've seen into one video. People say Damon S A Caroline because once she was compelled by him then her consent was taken away. Which in this video I point out that Caroline willingly went to bed with Damon and once he began to compell her to let him feed on her those relations stopped between them..meanwhile People also say Katherine took Stefan's consent away because once she compelled Stefan to not be afraid of her then that also took his consent away because she continued an intimate relationship with him post compelling Stefan. But literally zero people say the same thing about Caroline when she compelled Matt TWICE. And we actually saw what Matt's choice was when he knew that Caroline was a vampire and that was to leave the relationship so what does that mean if Caroline would have continued a relationship with him if the second time she compelled him would have actually stuck? Was his consent taken away? That's something to think about when accusing other characters. But yet you say that's 'normal' vampire behavior. But it's not normal vampire behavior for Damon to compel Caroline to let him feed on her ? The math ain't mathing. Either both is morally wrong or both is normal vampire behavior. I also say these things just as a response to the commenters and their accusations which is different from my own opinion. I don't think any of these people are S A ers. I believe we saw vampires do vampire things and while some actions aren't morally sound, it showed just how much the supernatural lived by their own code instead of the code of the real world. The only solution would have been that all supernaturals stayed far away from humans and didn't intermingle with them. But then we wouldn't have a tv show now would we? My point in this video is that people are going to use a moral code to judge one character then use the same code for all characters and not cherry pick them only towards the characters you don't like. These vampires were messy, chaotic and often villians when thinking about it from a human perspective but it's also what made the show entertaining #thevampirediaries #carolineforbes #damonsalvatore #katherinepierce #cyntalkstv
