you could just get 2 or 3 heads and swapp them out every once in a while so your consumables can cool down seeing as the torch body can handle it

Duty cycle get a better bigger torch there are flex locks with water passages but they are pricey

I love my flexlock but I know running 200 A at 100% circle is just stupid 😅 just switch to the flex head takes around 30 seconds. the flexlock is so nicer to work with in tight areas or stupid angles

I like my flex head but I’m very nice to it and try to only flex when I have to, but we go through a lot of them in the shop guys just crank them!

good for about 20 to 30 hours. Just use normal Miller torch. Ya don't like foot control then use thumb wheel.

Ive also had issues with the flex lock too. Had the retaining “bolt” snap twice in 3 months, and had the arc jump from the pivot point to my hand multiple times. It’s a great idea…

One of the guys in my welding school Maxed one of the high freq machines amps out and managed t9 weld the tungsten collet and the fucking collet body to eachother. He did a full weld (or tried)
