Yes but also once blunt weaponry became more widely used, they realized there wasn’t really any sort of armor that protects from blunt force trauma and started getting made cheaper and smaller

in those 2 battles (you missed poitiers in between). archers shot the horses bringing the knights down to the English knights and man at arms to their level.
