the problem with your scale is even bad games get a 5-6. When's the last time IGN gave a 2/10? plenty of games have deserved it. a 10 means nothing if a bad game is a 6

I have some pretty hands-on experience with the IGN review scale. Got to review a game for the site a while back. It’s a solid scale that is very fair, despite how much everyone criticizes different reviews.
