This happened to me. Because of insecurities and jelaousy of woman I called my friend, she has created whole different version of me in her head. I was villian in her story. So bc of that she misunderstood me a lot. No matter how much I tried to explain myself, she saw me as toxic one. As you said, it became worse. So our relationship is now strictly business like bc we work together.

This happened to people I know. I feel like always giving someone a chance to talk is trying to make things better. At least then you can know and say you tried/did everything you could. Simply leaving it where it’s at and walking away silently isn’t mature. People are still misunderstood and have a false sense of “peace”. Work the problem. Try your best to get people to understand your pov. Past experience don’t define the person. People always change

i told someone that i thought i was “dulling their shine” bc they would get progressively sadder in my presence. we clearly weren’t compatible and they were obviously changing themselves around me for whatever reason. and then they proceeded to say i was being over critical and micro aggressive and that i said that they were dull. no like how did we come to that conclusion???!!!! i hate when ppl strawman me bruh. i know where my intentions lie and i would never tell someone they are dull!
