@natzu_ki_: On January 16, 2025, SpaceX conducted its seventh test flight of the Starship rocket from Boca Chica, Texas. The Super Heavy booster successfully returned to the launch pad, being caught by the "chopstick" arms of the launch tower for the second time.  However, the Starship spacecraft encountered issues post-separation. Approximately eight and a half minutes into the flight, the spacecraft lost communication, leading to its presumed disintegration. Debris from the spacecraft's re-entry was observed over the Turks and Caicos Islands, prompting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to briefly divert flights in the vicinity to ensure safety.  Preliminary analysis suggest that an oxygen or fuel leak in the engine cavity may have caused the failure. Despite this setback, SpaceX continues to advance its Starship program, aiming for fully reusable spacecraft capable of carrying both crew and cargo to various destinations, including Mars. #starship #spacex
