You take your child to the bathroom before going anywhere no ask them if they want to go. And limit liquids and put a pull-ups on you’re child just in case

If you’re on the tarmac that means the plane is in line to go once cleared. Can’t be walking around when the plane is cleared. Air traffic tower controls flow.

Even if u ask/take ur kid to the toilet before boarding, they don’t always go. 30-45 min later they have to go NOW.

I’m sorry that happened but did you really expect them to stop taxi and inconvenience all of the other aircrafts as well? They can not move until everyone is seated .

I travel with my 4, 2 yr old and 8 month old. They use the bathroom right before boarding, im not asking them. That's what we are doing and I walk with pullups l. Yes they are potty trained. 🙄 Unnecessary...it's the tarmac, your not supposed to be our your seat.

this is why I had my potty trained at the time 5yo wear a diaper when boarding a plane and we took it off when we were allowed to get up these rules are for a reason

This is unfortunate for all. Mom is calm while talking but we dont have the other side. Also. Its possible flight attendant was following airline rules.

Happened to me on a United flight with my child. The locked the bathroom so I told her to just go right in the isle. They unlocked that bathroom real quick. (We were in the air not on tarmac)

I flew a few times a year with my kids starting at 2 and 7, I took them to potty as soon as we were getting ready to board and limited their liquids. They learned to follow the rules.

Why didn’t you go to the bathroom before go on board. When we travel with toddler and a 6 year we tell go to bathroom before go on bord explain can take some time before we get off and how this works

I always ask my child if he needs to bathroom before just so I can avoid using the jet bathroom. Even though he doesn’t wear diapers when traveling I always carry one in my bag just for scenarios like this

Sometimes it’s hard to hold it if your a kid or not even if you just went. I have that issue and I’m 33.

Had the same issue with my than toddler. Same airline - 13 years ago. Flight attendant called my toddler disgusting. And said he shouldn’t be flying if he can’t hold it.

We will never fly JetBlue. My dad has had awful experiences with them too, and he travels all around the world. I’m so sorry this happened to this family.
