@sophiemorrisofficial: Brands are not always better and this is a great example of that! I think many of us subconsciously assume brands, with their colourful flashy packaging, will be better quality than own label supermarket brands. But as we can clearly see with these two frozen burger products, it really is not always the case! In fact more and more I’m seeing own label products contain less additives than the big brand version of the same product! And the crazy thing is the big brands products tend to be way more expensive!! So you’re paying a premium for more additives and more processing of the product 👎. These Dunnes frozen burgers are less than HALF the price of the Birds eye frozen burgers and they contain substantially more beef (99% beef!) which is what I want when I’m eating a burger or feeding my kids burgers.
