You need to have an iPad (or tablet) AND A phone to connect to the projector? Can't I just project the images directly from phone to projector??

I also have an akaso projector and when I go to record a video of me icing a cookie, the video on my phone screen is rainbow and flashing. I wonder how you get a good video of yours?!
